The informatics and ICT department of the National institute of education and Women and Information society NGO jointly initiated «Building Information society» competition for all public schools in Armenia. The competition bore “AI positive application opportunities” name. The competition was supported by Union of Employers of ICT (UEICT), Unicomp, the first business school in Armenia, Team-time companies.
The competition aimed to guide schoolboys and girls in their career orientation in ICT. In order to build an information society, technologies are used in all aspects of life, perhaps this is the reason that ICT specialist are on high demand. This tendency has been prevalent in Armenia and in the world for quite a long time. 456 schoolchildren from various regions of Armenia took part in the competition. They build web-pages, made videos, presentations, electronic tests with electronic devices on the following topics. AI in medicine AI in education
