In 2017 AGBU Central Board Member and Founder and Director of Armenian Virtual College-AGBU, Synopsis head architect, Synopsis Armenia President and leading researcher was announced Good Will Ambassador for Technovation Armenia Program in the frame AGBU Armenia’s BRIDGE4CSOs.
Dr. Zoryan's first meeting with technovation Armenia was in 2017 in Armenia with Women and Information Society president, later in the US in Technovation World Summit where he regualrly accompanied and encouraged One Step Ahead team from Armenia. The team was invited to participate in the official ceremony for developing Armenian Sign Language mobile application. The next step of cooperation with the program was back in Armenia where Dr. Zoryan willingly agreed to be the Good Will Ambassador of Technovation Armenia.
Since 2017 Dr. Zoryan has encouraged all the teams to do everything possible to promote IT sector and community development processes in Armenia with their application solutions.
He follows all activities in the Program and encourages new initiatives. Dr Zoryan has also been invited to all Technovation Armenia/Technovation Girls, Armenia award ceremonies and has shared his enthusiasm inspired by the program and teams since 2017.
Dr. Zoryan leads the activities of Synopsys Research and Development and and product support for electronic design automation Center in Armenia. Today, Synopsys is one of the leading companies in the field of electronic software development, headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, USA. Armenia hosts Synopsys, one of the largest research and development branches with more than 700 employees.
Dr. Zoryan is a laureate of the RA State Prize in the field of exact natural sciences, a foreign member of the RA National Academy of Sciences. He best supports the development of the IT sector in Armenia and the promotion of technological innovation.
