Technovation Families Armenia 2019-2020

In 2019 Women and Information Society NGO with Technovation program implemented Technovation Families  Armenia competition.    

Technovation Families international competition is held by Technovation program which offers interactive curricula for 8-18 old year participants with their families.The teams learn to develop applications with Artifical Intelligence application to solve community issues. Technovation Families grants the participants an opportunity to become leaders, initiators, and people who offer solutions to issues. Technovation Families “Technovation Families”  aims at inspiring and empowering families to solve community issues. Families apply AI related knowledge and skills gianed in the frame of the program.  

Technovation Families” international program collaborates with such world famous organisations as UNESCO, UN Women and  collaborates with Google, NVIDIA,  and Adobe with curricula.  The program supports children and families from 100 countries.  Technovation Families is sponsored by  Google, Intel, Salesforce, Adobe, Verizon, LinkedIn, Oracle, Yahoo. 

In 2019 92 families with children up to 16 from Yerevan and marzes participated in the competiton. The best applications made by the Armenian teams were Menty, Safe Road. 

Safe Road--is an innovative project with AI for people with special needs to cross the street safely.  

Menty--the project is addressed to people with autism. The application helps people with autism to be self-serving.
